Michael Cunningham is the Chief Operating Officer, UnitedHealthcare National Accounts.  As COO, Mike is responsible for leading “end-to-end” service delivery. The primary emphasis being placed on meeting the day to day needs of our customers through integration of the UnitedHealthcare National Accounts service model with Call, Claim, Networks, Technologies, OptumHealth and Pharmacy areas of UnitedHealth Group. Prior to this position, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Client Management for UnitedHealthcare National Accounts during which he lead all client management activities for existing customers.

Mike joined UnitedHealth Group® in 2004 where he formed and lead the Strategic Accounts Group at Ingenix. His primary focus was to create a customer-facing team that developed key enterprise selling programs as well as initiating sales efforts and processes for the Federal and State government markets. Prior to joining Ingenix, Mike held a number of Senior Sales and Management positions at Bowne, Guardian Life, Standard & Poors and Automatic Data Processing.

Mike has a BS in Economics from Temple University and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
